The first I knew about this wedding was when my daughter came home from school and gabbled excitedly that I was to speak to the smiley lady at school about her wedding photography. Now, Megan attends an infant school with lots of smiley ladies so I wasn’t really sure how to proceed..
Luckily, Nicola cornered me one day and it turns out she was the smiley lady in question. Nic and Ant have been together a long time, have two beautiful daughters Caitlin and Keira and had decided to tie the knot at St Winifried’s Church in Lymm, followed by a reception at the Lymm Golf Club.
The biggest worry when I met them to finalise details a couple of days before was the weather – we’d had several weeks of glorious sunshine but the week preceeding had been more than a little wet. Expectations were duly lowered to crossing fingers for a dry day – no matter if there were clouds, or it was cold, dry would be good enough. I promised to look out the white umbrellas just in case…. Our expectations were met – nearly! It stayed dry until well after the wedding reception was underway, by which time it really didn’t seem to matter any more.
Sun or no sun, it was a beautiful day. Caitlin and Keira obviously so excited about their mum and dad getting married and being involved in everything along the way including the bidding prayers during the service. Just the best kind of wedding, lots of emotion, love, laughter and fun.
Big thanks to Lindsay Panting for some of these pictures x

The wedding ceremony took place at St Winefride’s Catholic Church in Lymm, followed by a reception at Lymm Golf Club.

As promised for a long time – here are some more pictures from Steve and Heidi’s Wedding at Clearwell Castle in the Forest of Dean. Happy New Year you two!
